This morning I woke up just longing for God to speak to me. I had prayer with my dear sister, Lynn (via Skype!! the wonders of technology) and listened to "The Potter's Hand a biblical meditation by Kathryn Bonner, then spent a moment of silence before the Lord. Then realizing it was 7:48am and my son had not said "good morning" or "good-bye" to catch his bus and leave for school, I went to his bedroom to check on him. He had not awaken and not even sure if his alarm went off. He got ready, had his breakfast and I drove him to school since he had missed his bus. I decided to take an hour reading "Confessions of a Pastor's Wife" by Kathryn Bonner at one of my favorite spots -Starbucks.
Ok, who is Kathryn Bonner? She is my friend, my coach, a pastor's wife (Bruce), my sister, and a wonderful woman of God!!
So I sat in Starbucks with my coffee (I am not a regular coffee drinker) and a slice of banana loaf and began reading. The Father did speak to me...
He reminded me that there will be struggles, but here are some questions to remember in the struggle:
* Do you remember what your passions feel like?
* If there was only one thing that you could do in your life, what would that be?
* What are you afraid of?
* Whose voice is getting in the way of your joy?
* How are you making choices?
* Do you realize that the way to handle one choice can change your entire life?
* Do you choose to walk with God or without Him?
* If you choose to do life without God, what course would you be on right now?
* If you choose to do life without God, what would be different for you?
Prophesy over the dry bones of your life!!!!!! Ezekiel 37:3-10
3 He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" I said, "Master God, only you know that." 4 He said to me, "Prophesy over these bones: 'Dry bones, listen to the Message of God!'" 5-6 God, the Master, told the dry bones, "Watch this: I'm bringing the breath of life to you and you'll come to life. I'll attach sinews to you, put meat on your bones, cover you with skin, and breathe life into you. You'll come alive and you'll realize that I am God!" 7-8 I prophesied just as I'd been commanded. As I prophesied, there was a sound and, oh, rustling! The bones moved and came together, bone to bone. I kept watching. Sinews formed, then muscles on the bones, then skin stretched over them. But they had no breath in them. 9 He said to me, "Prophesy to the breath. Prophesy, son of man. Tell the breath, 'God, the Master, says, Come from the four winds. Come, breath. Breathe on these slain bodies. Breathe life!'" 10 So I prophesied, just as he commanded me. The breath entered them and they came alive! They stood up on their feet, a huge army.
"In choosing to walk with Him, into His will for us, He breathes life into us, empowers us, and makes us come alive!!"
AMEN!!!

I know that God can breath life into old bones. He is the master of all things and the spirit that resided in and raised Christ from the dead resides in me through the Holy Spirit. Praise God.
