I laid in bed and could not sleep. Tears begin to fall from my eyes...for the lives of those who remain in Haiti. For the families who have lost loved ones. For the hunger, suffering, distress, degradation, lack of hygiene, mothers with new babies, children... Oh Lord! Have mercy on this nation. Help us to open our hearts and pocket books to help these people who have experienced such great loss. How can I sleep?! What must I do?! For now I pray, I give what I can and I stay in God's peace knowing that His grace and mercy will see Haitians and Haiti through.
Let us continue to pray and give to bring this country and its people to a place where they can feel like human beings once more...
